SKY IS MY LIMIT. My competitor is MYSELF |
5 years ago, 2008, i was watching Olympic games and saw an athlete who broke her own record for the 24th with 5.05m at the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing on 18 August. Broke her own world record for 24th? Seriously? She is superb amazing. After that broke it again on 28 August 2009 at Zurich, Switzerland with 5.06 m height.
Who is she? She is Yelena Isinbayeva, Russian pole voulter who win Olympic gold medalist twice on 2004 and 2008.
Her hope was to be the first women won third gold medal Unluckly, she finished with bronze at London Olympic 2012 due to unconditional weather that she made with a jump of 4.70m.
Some rumour said that she will retire after London Olympic however Russian BBC services reported that she plans to compete at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016 in an attempt to win a third gold medal.
During my last russian zachut, my russian teacher mention that she is muslimah and the reason she want to retire because of LOVE. I didn't believe it. I mean i do believe that she want to retire because of her relationship status, she is 31 now but she is Muslimah? Islam? i didn't believe it
Her father is Haji Gafanovich. Haji? Check out this blog to double check it. OMG (om gerek)
